Manitoba REALTORS® 'fishing' for a good cause

The Manitoba Real Estate Association held their First Annual REALTORS Care® Fishing Tournament on September 18th. Over 80 REALTORS® and their friends enjoyed a day fishing on the Red River. The tournament was held in support of the newly formed MREA Shelter Foundation, which is dedicated to affordable housing and homelessness initiatives.
All those in attendance considered the event a huge success. Event sponsors helped out by providing enough prizes so that no one went home empty handed. Trophies were awarded in various categories and Winnipeg REALTOR® Arnie Moss won the trophy for Largest Catch of the Day.
The event raised $2,768 in support of the MREA Shelter Foundation. Stay tuned for the date of the second annual REALTORS Care® Fishing Tournament.
